What The Trust Does

The Objects of the Trust are:
- To establish a centre in the City of Wellington (New Zealand)
for the study of
religion and society.
- To engage lecturers, tutors and researchers, arrange seminars and
study groups.
- To arrange for the publication and dissemination of the results of
the studies and research.

The Geering Lectures
In 1997 the Geering Lectures, named after the principal lecturer
Emeritus Professor of Religious Studies, Lloyd Geering, were inaugurated.
